Joining the LCFPA

The Lochaber Craft and Producers Association was formed in 1993 to bring together the various individual craft and food producers operating in Lochaber - it is run by members for the members on a voluntary basis. It was decided at one of the early committee meetings to print a craft trail guide and this has been printed every year since. This website is the natural progression of that printed guide.

Other activities over the years have included a cookery show at the Nevis Centre in Fort William, taking a group stand at the Royal Highland Show, running craft fairs and fashion shows, "have-a-go" craft days and a "Meet the Buyer" event. More recently we held our second photographic workshop for members to learn to photograph their own work.
